CS Alumni

Welcome to the Computer Science Alumni page. We are very proud of our alumni and of their achievements and are keen to keep in touch. Many of our alumni return for further education or to attend professional courses. They also play an active role in shaping our programmes, contributing their experience to our teaching and the design of our curriculum. They frequently return to recruit our latest graduates or simply to join us at one of our Alumni Events.

We will also be in touch about CS Alumni Events. Last November we hosted our Inaugural CS Alumni Dinner. After a drinks reception in the Department, dinner was laid on in the Jeremy Bentham Room, followed by a talk from our Special Guest Christian Nentwich. We look forward to the next dinner – more details to follow soon.

Calling all Computer Science graduates - tell us what you are doing now!

We are very interested to hear what you are doing now, whether you have found your dream job, moved onto further study or have had enough of computers altogether and become a pig farmer?! We would really appreciate it if you get in touch with a couple of paragraphs about where you are now (Company, University, Country etc), what your role/research is, and how you attribute that success to your time spent with CS. We are aiming to collect some interesting case studies of past students to publish in our promotional material and to help advise new students about various career and study opportunities.

We really look forward to hearing from you!

Help your department to invest in students, staff and facilities

We want to make sure that our students have the best possible educational experience and are eager to maintain and enhance our reputation for research excellence. We have expert staff delivering world-leading teaching and conducting cutting edge research, but they need to have the best resources available to them. You can help to provide this by making a gift to your department. Your generosity will provide us with a source of income which can be used to respond to needs and opportunities as and when they arise. From supporting student scholarships to investing in new facilities, 100% of your gift will be directed to areas of the greatest importance within the department. You can make a gift online using a credit or debit card or set up a regular donation using direct debit.
